DAY 1 North Coast

When you arrive at Moi International Airport, one of our representatives will be there to greet you. They will take you to The Reef Hotel, where you will check in. You can spend the entire day relaxing and getting used to your new surroundings. In the evening, you will have dinner at the hotel and stay overnight there.

Day 2 Full Day at The Beach

After you have breakfast, you’ll head to Wasini Island. Wasini Island is often called “paradise on earth” by those who visit. It’s located at the southern end of Kenya’s coast and is about 1.5 km from Shimoni, a small town on the mainland. A public ferry will take you to the island in just a few minutes. Despite being close, Wasini Island remains a hidden gem in Kenya. The island’s 2,000 inhabitants welcome visitors warmly with a traditional Swahili “Karibu Sana” greeting. Wasini is a peaceful and tranquil place, far from the busy coastal beaches of Kenya. After exploring the island, you will return to the hotel for dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3 The Reef – Tsavo West

After having breakfast, you will check out of the hotel. You will then be taken to the SGR Terminal to board the SGR train to Voi Terminal. Once you arrive, our driver guide will pick you up and transfer you to Kilaguni Serena, where you will check in and relax. You will have dinner and stay overnight at the lodge.

Day 4 Full Day at Tsavo West

After breakfast, you will leave with packed picnic lunch boxes to explore Tsavo West National Park. This park is famous for its beautiful scenery, which includes a wide variety of vegetation. Tsavo West is known for its open savannah grasslands, Acacia woodlands, scrublands, rocky ridges, and riverine vegetation. It’s a remote park located in the coastal province and is home to all of Africa’s big game, including the Big Five: lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and leopards. You can also see giraffes, zebras, hyenas, cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, and many more animals. The park is also home to many bird species, including rare ones like the corncrake and the Basra reed warbler. After a full day of exploring, you will return to the lodge in the evening to freshen up, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 5 Tsavo West – Amboseli

You will start your day with an early morning game drive. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for breakfast and then check out, taking packed picnic lunch boxes with you. You will then proceed to Amboseli National Park, where you will check in and spend the afternoon relaxing at the lodge. In the evening, you will have dinner and stay overnight at the lodge.

Day 6 Full Day at Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, you will head to Amboseli National Park for a morning game drive, which will last until the afternoon. You will then return to the lodge for a hot lunch. After some relaxation, you will go on another game drive in the park at 4:00 pm. Amboseli National Park is famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, located just across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers great views of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and many bird species. After the afternoon game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and stay overnight.

Day 7 Amboseli – Nairobi

After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge, taking packed lunch boxes with you. You will then proceed to Nairobi. You will arrive in the afternoon, check in at the hotel, and relax for the rest of the day. In the evening, you will have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 8 Full Day in Nairobi

After breakfast, you will visit the Giraffe Center, where you can learn about and interact with giraffes. You will also get a chance to taste some traditional Kenyan food in the city. Later, you will visit the National Museum of Kenya. After a full day of exploring Nairobi, you will return to the hotel for dinner and stay overnight.

Day 9 Nairobi – Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and head to Nakuru. On the way, you will have an en route lunch. Once you arrive, you will head straight to Nakuru National Park. This park is known for its wide variety of habitats, from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and ridges. The park is home to over 400 bird species, including flamingos, as well as more than 100 rhinos and other animals like buffaloes, waterbucks, lions, and impalas. After exploring the park, you will check in at the lodge for dinner and stay overnight.

Day 10 Nakuru – Masai Mara

After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and head to Masai Mara National Reserve, taking packed lunch boxes with you. Masai Mara is famous for the annual great wildebeest migration, which occurs in July and August. During this migration, close to a million wildebeests cross the Mara River in search of pasture. In Masai Mara, you can see large herds of elephants, wildebeests, buffalos, impalas, Thomson’s gazelles, and zebras. The reserve is also known for its high concentration of big cats, including lions and the elusive leopard. After a day of exploring, you will return to the lodge for check in, dinner, a bonfire, and overnight stay.

Day 11 Full Day at Masai Mara

You will start your day early with breakfast at 6:30 am. You will then leave the lodge with a packed picnic lunch at 7:00 am to spend the entire day exploring Masai Mara National Reserve. This reserve is home to over 450 bird species and a wide variety of animals, including rhinos, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, warthogs, jackals, lions, and many types of antelopes. You will have your picnic lunch along the banks of the Mara River. After a full day of exploration, you will return to the lodge in the evening for dinner, a bonfire, and overnight stay.

Day 12 Departure

After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge with packed lunch and proceed to Nairobi. You will be dropped off at the airport or your hotel, marking the end of your unforgettable 12-day tour safari experience. We say “Karibu Tena!” which means “Welcome Again!”
