Day 1 Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel or Nairobi’s Central Business District by our representatives. We will then depart for Masai Mara via the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway. Our first stop will be at the Great Rift Valley escarpment for photography and to enjoy the breathtaking views. After this, we will continue our journey to Masai Mara through Narok town. Upon arrival at Masai Mara, you will check in to your AA lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, we will embark on our first game drive in the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, which forms the northern part of Serengeti National Park. After the game drive, we will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 Full Day Masai Mara National Reserve

After a hearty breakfast, we will head out for a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara with a picnic lunch. This region is one of the few places left in Kenya where you can witness the same abundance of animals as over a century ago. Masai Mara captures the imagination of travelers with its dramatic contrasts and unforgettable experiences. In the afternoon, we will search for the famous black-manned lion and explore the various biomes of the reserve, including savanna, rolling grasslands, and gallery forests along the Mara River and its tributaries. The day will be filled with sightings of exotic wildlife in their natural habitat. In the evening, we will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, we will check out of the lodge and enjoy a game drive as we exit the park. With a bit of luck, we might see animals like Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelles, topis, elands, zebras, lions, cheetahs, elephants, and over 450 bird species, including more than 50 birds of prey. We will then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Upon arrival, you can rest and have lunch. Lake Nakuru was initially known as a bird sanctuary, especially for the lesser and greater flamingos that once engulfed the lake. Now, it is also home to the Rothschild giraffe, various herbivores like buck and antelope, and even leopards. The park’s vegetation is characterized by flat-topped acacia and the candelabra cactus. After lunch, we will go on an afternoon game drive, hoping to see more wildlife, including lions. We will return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4 Lake Nakuru National Park – Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, we will depart for Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival, we will check in and then head out for a game drive to Hell’s Gate National Park. Lake Naivasha is approximately 13 kilometers across and has shallow waters. It is a bird watcher’s paradise, and its waters are home to the iconic hippo. You might also see giraffes and antelopes. Hell’s Gate National Park is unique because it is one of the few parks where you can walk, bike, rock climb, or simply drive. The park’s unusual name comes from its rock formations and intense geothermal activity. You can explore obsidian caves or visit the Ol Njorowa Gorge. There is also a spa in the park with manmade pools fed by natural hot springs. After visiting Hell’s Gate, we will have lunch at a restaurant, followed by two options.

Option 1: Extend your adventure with a lake tour, which lasts around three hours, followed by a walk on the famous Crescent Island, a private sanctuary. We will then return to Lake Naivasha for dinner and an overnight stay.

Option 2: Return to the hotel for a relaxing afternoon, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.
